GEX Dosimetry Workshop: April 22-24, 2008

GEX is pleased to announce our 2008 Dosimetry Workshop dates. The course has been shortened to 3 days and will be held on Tuesday through Thursday of given weeks in the future. The dates for 2008 are April 22nd - 24th. Registration is limited to 8 participants. Depending on demand, a second workshop will be added in late summer or late fall. The typical September workshop has been cancelled due to the 2008 International Meeting on Radiation Processing being held September 2008 in London.

Risø Courses 2008

• Validation and Process Control for Electron Beam Sterilization: June 9-13 and August 25 - 29, 2008.
• Validation and Process Control for Low Energy Electron Beam Irradiation: March 26-28, 2008.

IMRP 2008

The International Meeting on Radiation Processing 2008 is rapidly approaching September 21-25, 2008. Held approximately every 2 years, the meeting site for 2008 is the Riverbank Plaza Hotel in London. Complete information can be found at www.imrp2008.com.

We call your attention to the fact that there will be an optional workshops on the last day and for dosimetry there is:

Option 1: Advanced Dosimetry, Modelling and Process Control
Sponsored by the Irradiation Panel this practical workshop will develop these subjects. Specific topics will include dosimetry for low energy electron beams, techniques for processing at low temperatures, the use of mathematical modelling and the application of statistical process control.

Those interested in this workshop please note that you must register for this workshop and there is some additional cost.
