Polystyrene calorimeters
For use in 3.0 MeV to 10 MeV electron beam accelerator systems, for dose range 3 kGy - 40 kGy. Polystyrene calorimeters, along with a typical high precision ohm-meter, are used to measure resistance values before and after irradiation. The calorimetric body is surrounded with foam to provide thermal insulation. Each calorimeter is supplied with a formal certification from Risø High Dose Reference Laboratory, along with a copy of the CalDose software.
Graphite calorimeters
GEX uses formalized calibration procedures to assure highly reproducible results from calibration to calibration. We perform dozens of calibrations and fit hundreds of calibration curves each year. Our full turnkey calibration service package allows a user to follow either of the two ISO/ASTM 51261 currently recommended calibration methods.
